Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

Operation Christmas Child is an outreach program. You get shoeboxes from them and then fill the shoeboxes. They will send the shoeboxes to third world countries and give them to the children. Then the children are taught about Jesus and his love. You can put a lot of things in the shoeboxes like school supplies, toiletries, and small toys. You can’t put certain things like liquids and toothpaste. You also can’t put in anything that could potentially scare them like army toys. This was an awesome opportunity for our family and we do it every year. We also did it with our youth group this year and packed 86 boxes. It was amazing. There are three age groups: 2-4, 5-9, and 10-14. I filled a girls one for each age group.
