Girls Club Sleepover

On the 24th of June we had a sleepover for the Girls Club at our church. Lots of girls came. I am too old to be one of the girls, so I helped my mom with some of the games.
We played Grounders while waiting for everyone to arrive. Then we painted flower pots. Next were the team games. Here are some of the ones we did:

- Jello Contest: You had to eat the Jello from a plastic container with only using your hands to hold the cup.
- Pass the Peach Ring: You put a toothpick between your lips and try to pass a peach gummy ring from person to person.
- Pudding Contest: You had to get the peach gummy rings out of the pudding without using your hands.
- Pass the Banana: Everyone lies down in a line and you have to pass the banana from person to person using your feet. The last person has to get up peel the banana and eat it.
- Bubble Gum Contest: You have to get the three pieces of bubblegum out of the whipped cream without using your hands and blow a bubble.
- Oreo Contest: You take an oreo, twist it so you have both sides apart, then stick it on your forehead and try to get it down to your mouth without using your hands
- Drop the Clothespin: You have to drop a clothespin in a can while standing up straight and bending your arms.
- Freezie contest: You have to eat a freezie
- Puzzle Contest: You have to find all the puzzle pieces with your symbol on them (usually up to 10 pieces), assemble the puzzle, flip it over, look at the Bible reference on the back and say the verse.
Whichever team finished each of these contests first won.
After that we had a talent show. There was piano playing and skits mostly. Then we watched the movie "The Secrets of Jonathon Sperry" and went to bed.
In the morning we had a scrumptious breakfast and got Tee shirts. We all signed each others' Tee shirts.
It was an awesome sleepover and I thank all the people who made it happen.
